Mon. Apr 13 - Deadline for Nominations for TCS 2015-2016 elections
If you're interested in shaping the direction of our organization, we ask that you read our election email and respond with which position you want and a bio no later than Apr. 13th.

Apr 16 - Spring TCS meeting and elections
The chapter will be meeting this week for prospective officers to introduce themselves and for voting to commence. Results will be tallied over the weekend and the 2015-2016 TCS leadership will be announced on Monday Apr. 20th.

Sat. Apr 18 - Lincoln City Earth Day
The event is on Saturday April 18th from 11am to 2pm and is put on by North Lincoln Sanitary Service. There will be live music, food, and beer from a local brewery. There will be a few kids activities, yoga classes and a small earth friendly vendor fair and organic farmers market. In the main auditorium (also where the music and beer will be) will be our educational tables like BlueSky program, Buy Local, salmon drift creek watershed council and other groups.

Sat. Apr 25 - Sea Star Wasting Monitoring at Boiler Bay (depending on tides)
Participate in our quarterly monitoring of our adopted mile of coastline for signs of sea star wasting/densovirus. This is a great opportunity to do real fieldwork and collect data used by NOAA and OSU's Department of Integrated Biology.

Sat. May 16 - Hands across the Sand
Interested in environmental activism? This event is hosted by The Surfrider Foundation and protests withdrawals of conservation areas for oil drilling. See http://www.handsacrossthesand.com/ for details.

Fri. May 29 - TCS end of year party
Join us for a celebration of our new club's accomplishments, congratulate the new leadership, and say farewell to some of the graduating officers. Food and drink provided, but additions are welcome. Open to all.

More activities will be announced as opportunities arise.
